01 — The brief
A fixed date, a ceiling at the limit, a family to fit.
The deadline.
Ready before the summer of the 2024 Games. About four months from study to keys, with the owner on the other side of the Atlantic.
The height.
A ceiling already at the legal minimum for a rental: no room to drop it for air conditioning.
The family.
Parents and children in about 70 m², each with their own space, without losing the light in the living room.
02 — What we did
- Layout redrawnSeparate parents' and children's zones, shorter circulation.
- Extra shower roomA second shower room created within the existing plan.
- Water-based air conditioningChosen so the ceiling height stays untouched.
- Winter gardenA multi-purpose space between living, work and dining.
